Journaling is a secret weapon in your healing journey
I am ALWAYS recommending journaling to my clients and readers/listeners. It is something that is pretty much non-negotiable if you want to work with me during your healing journey.
And I’m not saying it to be difficult or add more work to your workload. I’m saying it because journaling ACTUALLY WORKS. It is a great way to increase your self-awareness, identify and challenge your limiting beliefs, and develop consistent mindful productivity habits.
It is such a powerful habit and I don’t think we talk about the benefits of journaling enough!
However, don’t get me wrong, I know it can be quite difficult to start a journaling habit if it is not something you’ve done before.
So if you’re ever my client, I’ll work with you to slowly build journaling into a consistent habit that works WITH you. I highly recommend starting with journal prompts and then over time you will get used to thinking and reflecting deeply on your life.

Why journaling is important for perfectionists
High-achieving perfectionists often get caught up in the rat race of the career ladder, chasing goal after goal without ever really considering whether these goals align with their values.
Most of my clients tie their self-worth to their career and achievements so they never feel good enough because there is always more to do and someone to compare themselves to.
Always on autopilot, repeating the same thinking patterns and behaviours. Wondering why they keep going through cycles of procrastination and pushing themselves to the brink of burnout.
Don’t let it be you!
Journaling provides a safe space for you to challenge your limiting beliefs and acknowledge the great things you have done. It increases your self-awareness so that you can see your perfectionism for exactly what it is.
You will be able to step off the script of autopilot and finally create a life that is in alignment with your true values.
It’s powerful stuff.
